Oh, and he's a free-agent.
It's a problem if you want to run a zone blocking scheme. He is not very athletic. Man's got bad knees.

Our D has given our O lots of gift wrapped presents this year but our O has not given back. Unreal. They need to clean this crap up quick.

Zone blocking is not working. It killed the run game and has forced us to pass more... that hurt the rest of our offensive game.

I'm holding out hope for a complete turnaround starting Sunday and running through February

For Strief to grade out positve in zone blocking with bad knees doesn't say much about the other O-linemen. If and I mean if zone blocking has caused all the sacks, hits, hurries, knockdowns on Brees and stifled our run game seems to me there lies the problem.

I think the zone blocking techniques only apply to run blocking? I'm not sure but I think pass blocking is a totally different animal.
Admittedly I'm no OLine scheme expert.

Zone blocking is only a run game technique, pass blocking is pretty much standard every time

I have said it before and I'm going to say it again, the zone blocking isn't working. Our lineman are not cut out for it. They need to go back to gap blocking.
