this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think our offense problems has been the inability of the LT to protect Brees long enough, when the LT comes through, you get the result seen today. I am hoping that is something being built on for the post ...

I think our offense problems has been the inability of the LT to protect Brees long enough, when the LT comes through, you get the result seen today.
I am hoping that is something being built on for the post season where the Saints can go on a tear, wishful thinking to win 3 straight playoff games on the road......but much more silly things have happened. |

We're going to let go of Will Smith for sure, that should free up a lot of cap space next year. Well, a decent amount anyway. In Loomis we trust!

Exactly. That is why I say De La Puenta needs to be replaced. You always build your O-Line from the middle out. We have two pro bowl Guards in Grubbs and Evans. We don't have to have a pro bowl Center but we need one who is more effective in the run game and can hold his own in pass blocking. You can always find a good Center in the draft, the position is never really over valued.

Armstead will be able to handle LT get a new Center and we will have a good OLine, you saw that long ball where brees stepped up and bombed it to meachem, yea thats what would happen more often if our center isn't getting beat up
