One question occurred to me concerning trading back and forth for picks - limited cap space this season... The rookie class draft allotment is usually "preassigned" based on the current collective bargaining agreement so am wondering if we were also limited on how we could possibly trade... |

you gotta get rid of a big ticket item to fill the draw with many goodies. say 8 mill for graham should just about cover the bill. cut here of last year contract players will pay for a replacement in the draft with change left over to get another :) all in fun on that one |

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
Believe Jordan Matthews will be our first round pick if that's what's on the board when the Saints select...

Re: Mock Draft Simulator
Can you imagine having to decide to select Clowney?!?
The physical measurable stats are off-the-charts, but is the head case worth it?!? |

nothing is signed so that is the end of dead money, And if a trade was to happen the tag is a mute issue. it would all be handled in the trade for a player like Jimmy. Do you think the saints would want to be the laughing stock of the NFL? Mickey coming out of a deal as big as this looking like a fool? don't think so. besides i would be amazed if we did anything but get Jimmy all wrapped up. graham is a bargain tagged as a TE. As a WR that is another story. We would have time to decide what we are going to do. so till then dead money is a dead topic when it comes to jimmy |

Ignoring the fact that until something is signed you have nothing to trade. Since he has to sign something in order for you to have something to trade, the tag and it's dead money are neither moot or ended. I'm not sure you understand that dead money can not be traded or moved. It's not yo to Loomis, it's governed by the CBA. His hands are tied. At the end of every deal or contract is the League. Each and every contract or trade has to be approved by the League office before it is final. |
