The most interesting thing is the timing of it all...

Timing of Graham grievance is curious | ProFootballTalk

It will be personal between fans and Graham/Sexton, if they sign a contract AFTER the draft that will be prohibitive for the Saints to match and have to wait on the draft picks until the next two drafts...

Wouldn't bother me in the least. We free up $7m in cap space. No harm done.

The Saints have more than reaped the benefits of Jimmy's great play for low pay for a few years now.

Graham is a Free Agent. No one is upset we didn't get anything for the other Free Agents that have gone.

Now had we paid him or taking a cap hit this season for nothing.... Different story.

My picking of Hill for break out player would look good!.

I think we could cope if he does and be in a really strong position moving forward

Bills should have simply made a run at Jimmy Graham | ProFootballTalk

Wondered the same thing, why didn't they just get a big receiver in Graham and it wouldn't have cost them as much?!?

Would have cost them 8-11ml a year

True, but they'd have had a fourth round pick and a player that's proven in the NFL...

Just interesting...

I do find it interesting that teams will be aggressive moving up in the draft but say its bad value to pay two first rounders for proven talent.
