4 women from multiple states? This is either a very elaborate, and I mean extremely elaborate gold digging scheme, or the man is guilty. If the women can provide any evidence of those narcotics in there system at the time of the incidents then this we'll be an open and shut case.

That is the unfortunate reality of a charge like this. The accusation is the same as being found guilty with most people. Even if its proven that he was innocent (and I'm not saying he is....), there will be many people who think he got off on a technicality or paid his way to get off on the charge.
Very sad if he is indeed innocent.

He's guilty in the court of public opinion. Media outlets are almost obligated to do so, because if they don't, then the drama becomes the story.

NFL Network seems to be consistent with this policy. They also suspended Warren Sapp before the Super Bowl in Miami for allegedly choking out his girlfriend.

The woman told police she went to a "couple" of bars, where she consumed a "large amount of alcohol" on Sunday, Sept. 23. She said she met Sharper at one of the bars and he took her back to his apartment at 701 Tchoupitoulas St around 10 a.m., according to the report.

There, he had sex with her without her consent, she told police. "The victim stated she did not consent to any sexual behavior," the report says.

We can go round and round about responsibility, but at the end of the day if you meet a woman for the first time and she is drunk, the answer has to be NO! There's a fine distinction that cannot be discerned from the situation. It's the fact that a drunk woman is incapacitated and therefore has lost the ability to consent.

In short she probably said yes and then sobered up and started asking herself "what the heck happened?"

Sharper has gotten himself into a tough spot if this is how it went down.

That's true. But then, wouldn't the logical thing for a gold digger to do is to claim to be drunk and raped?

I understand taking him off the tv but the way the statement is put out just looks like the NFL executives have decided he is guilty and got rid.
