Reports: Ex-Saint Darren Sharper arrested on rape charges

Hard to believe about Sharper, but there has been some crazy stuff in the news regarding NFL players.

Rape. Awful crime.

I question the delay in reporting the October crime and if it is the same woman, why did she see him again?

I hate the thought I am questioning the victim (woman) but could Sharper be the victim?

Its a sad state the world has got to when you do wonder wether a woman would make something like that up.Not many worse crimes to commit or be accused of committing if you are innocent

Sounds like a weak case to me, only 200k bail for such a horrible crime? I understand the NFL Network removing him from TV, but suspended without pay for just an allegation?

In the court of public opinion you are guilty until proven innocent unfortunately. Who knows if he did it or not, I wouldn't put it passed him but it's a shame he has to lose his job before he gets a chance to tell his side.

An former NFL player who is an analyst for NFL network arrested on rape charges?

Nothing new or exiting to read here. Come to think of it don't they employ 2 or 3 others on the same charges?
