this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Disagree with the article, yes Gronk still had 2 years but how can they say he didn't have any leverage after the numbers he put up the previous year....

What the Pats realize is that the value of players of this caliber doesn't go down and neither do Franchise Tags. It is not with out a gamble however, as they paid top dollar for a TE that has spent a lot of time in rehab. |
