#Saints have agreed to 2-year deal with CB Champ Bailey, per source. Cornerback Champ Bailey will be joining the New Orleans Saints roster. WWL Saints Sideline Reporter Kristian Garic confirms the team and the defensive back have agreed on a two-year deal. Garic says it is a smart move by the Saints. "Bailey, has played in the league for 15 years, and while his best football might be behind him, he's still a valuable player to a young defensive secondary. He'll fit right in with Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan's pressing defense. Realistically I think the Saints will carve out a specific role for Bailey in the nickel defense," our sideline reporter said.
