Saints sign Champ Bailey

I like the move. Adds depth and knowledge. I still think we need to add one more CB in the draft. Having Byrd, lewis and champ teaching a young CB is a good thing.

Slowly but surely we're plugging the holes. Now we just need to address receiver, oline and add some speed at linebacker. I like where we're headed this offseason.

So, basically he could have an instant impact or just be an expensive coach. Either way I'm down with the signing.

Not opposed to this signing at all... I didn't see many Denver games this past season (or two), so I don't really know how effective of a player Bailey still is.

But if RR, SP and ML thought he was worth bringing in and giving him a 2-year contract - then I can't help but to think that he still has some worth as an on-the-field DB.

Bailey was released by the Denver Broncos earlier this offseason because of a lofty price tag and declining production. But the 12-time Pro Bowler is said to be healthy after being plagued by a foot injury last season, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported earlier this week.

Thats encouraging, because he looked awful last year.

He actually had a great 2012 season, so he isn't far removed from greatness.

And he rested a lot last year. So he should be fairly darn healthy.

The no pass rush denver had didnt help either. With our dynamic duo in the front seven Champ will be really solid if he is healthy. Trust in Loomis.
