Wow props to that Seahawks fan. Pretty honest evaluation of a hated rival. Well I hate the Seahawks. Anyway Falcons fans can't stop talking about Bounty Gate, how Brees is really a terrible guy. WHAT! And that's when they're not self proclaiming themselves as NFL elites. Here's to watching Khiry Robinson rush for 150+ vs Hawks in the playoffs.

Our DBs proved they can be physical. Home game vs Carolina. Vaccaro, Lewis and others delivered some serious punishment.

That what burns my ass about Seattle, get a bunch of tough opponents at home all season, draw them up in the playoffs, one of them wasnt ****, the other out played them and still lost, then draw up a team in the SB that had no business there.

Problem? They couldnt win tough games on the road, I think the only tough one they had they lost.

A few key plays and Seattle would have been a road playoff team that year too.

I hate to say this but the head of officiating tweeted that the Hawks aren't even being looked at by the league for holding or grabbing, basically implying the Hawks are clean and other teams are the repeat offenders. Those waiting for a flag are going to be waiting a looooooong time. Not sure why people perpetuate this rumor but carry on.

People perpetrate it because its true. When multiple teams and multiple analyst comment about how the Seahawks amazingly get away with it, it isn't some unfounded fan-whine.

Maybe its payback for the Seahawks getting prison-raped by the zebras against the Steelers in the Superbowl several years ago. Either way I hope they start calling it fairly from now on. Oh, and I hope your jackass thug DB's get exactly what they deserve.

YEP it is true REFs did not look at sea chicks they thro a few flags but if you look at film the refs could have thrown a flag on every down on sea chickns only that would have stoped the bull Sht they get by with.Think about last year drew trying to draw other team off sides ref throw 3 flags the 3rd time Drew did it to shame refs to prove point. Its a wonder saints did as well as they did last year considering every game zebras gunning for saints.12th man saints true champs in NFC.

It's not going to be a long time. The NFL rules committee announced they were going to crack down on defensive holding, illegal contact and pass interference this season.

Mike Pereira made that tweet about the hawks not being looked at, when he was reporting on the rules committee meetings. There was no implication that the Seahawks were clean only that none of he examples given during the meeting were of the Seahawks.

In fact Mike Pereira agrees the Seahawks do hold and get away with it.

The Seattle Seahawks—the favorites to make the Super Bowl out of the NFC—employ an exasperating defensive game plan: They blitz rarely and drop an army of defenders into pass coverage. And those defenders mug, obstruct and foul opposing receivers on practically every play.

Quietly, the Seahawks have achieved a 13-3 record and home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs by exploiting a loophole: NFL referees are reluctant to throw endless flags for pass interference and defensive holding, even if defenses deserve them.

"They look at it and say, 'We may get called for one but not 10,'" said Mike Pereira, a former NFL vice president of officiating who is now a Fox analyst.

It's not just people perpetuating the "rumor", it's generally accepted by the major sports news outlets.

There are dozens more stories by smaller sports media sites and bloggers.

That's probably why people perpetuate the story.
