That basically leaves Trent Richardson, who is the only 1 of the big 3 not running behind the familiar ZBS.
So Ingram has lived up to the hype? I do seriously wonder if he'd have found more running room somewhere else. I just expected more out of him and Trent. And Lacy has looked good, I just hate on Bama whenever possible.

I got up to watch the game this morning. Sunsari played pretty well, I liked his energy he had last week also. He seems to be getting more comfortable in the schemes, it showed well this week. SBJ seems to get somewhat more fimiliar with the playbook also. I still like the small RB to. Hey, don't look now but Ingram looks to be about to explode!!

tell ya the safety position is going to be a hard call.

right now Sunseri has put himself back in the lower tier of safeties.

right now keep 6

Sunseri made the team for sure. Once again Loomie and SP shows us what we don't know.

Sunseri was everywhere and he made plays around the ball. Speaking of Ball(see what I did there) I thought Ball played like a posessed mad man.

Notice how he directs/instructs out there? For me, he already has a good understanding of those base defensive packages.

That was one of the pros for drafting him, he has a very high football IQ. I guess that's what having a father who is a coach does for ya.

Ironically enough, one of the cons was his less than steller athletic ability He looks pretty damn athletic and quick to me

Re: New Orleans Saints' Vinnie Sunseri makes impact vs. Titans | Rookie Watch

Was really happy for the kid and his game against the Titans, even though I wasn't a big fan of his selection...

But it was the Titans, and they will be awful...

Looking forward to seeing him against better talent the next two weeks with the Colts, then Ravens...

Will get slapped with the hater tag, but he's slow...

Understand he may have a good football mind, but we call those people 'coaches"...

But if he outplays Marcus Ball, so be it...

But until this game, Pierre Warren has looked better than both and I'd rather have three free safeties, especially with Jarius Byrd's health past...

Really hoping Marcus Ball counters in this race and they both make it a real decision...

I see us carrying five (5) safeties, ranking them...

Kenny Vaccaro (this kid could be turning into an All-Pro)
Jarius Byrd (man up and stay out of the training room)
Raphael Bush (he's really turning it on and showed we kept two nitwits for too long)
Pierre Warren (quietest, biggest surprise in camp)
Vinnie Sunseri (one game, tempered expectations)
Marcus Ball (has the physical tools to be as good as any of them, maybe he should cut his hair to start)
Ty Zimmerman (had high hopes for him to surprise, opportunity?!?)

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

He ran a 4.48 40, which is faster than Byrd, Vaccaro, Ball and Bush.

Vinnie Sunseri's knee rehab as speedy as Adrian Peterson's - NFL.com

In fact, he's our fastest safety on the roster according to 40 yard times, which he ran 6 months after ACL surgery.

You're definitely spot on re: the 40 yd dash...

It's the quickness in area or quick-twitch aspect I am referring...

Malcolm Jenkins was great in the forty, it was the quickness/response/mirroring ability that limited him as I feel it may also for Sunseri...

He's a Saint so I'd be glad to be wrong...

Sunseri was also projected as a Free Safety, which may be moot in the Saints 3 Safety Formation...
