Jake Shmake... it\'s those great WRs & TEs like Colbert and Mangum, that great RB - Nick Goings, that awesome offensive line of backups, and the defense - they pad Jake\'s stats too right? Oh wait - and all that luck the Panthers have. Nevermind that they were the best team in the NFC last year and right now, today, they\'re probably the second best, maybe third. Philly, Carolina, GB, Atlanta, Seattle, Minn. or TB or the Lambs...

End of regulation, Jake was, I believe, 23 of 28 for 330 yards and 2 TDs. Go look at what he did in the Playoffs and SB last year. The guy plays huge in huge games. But he doesn\'t have any \"intangibles\" that AB doesn\'t. Intangibles inshmangibles. LOL

You know what? He throws that pick in OT, and i\'d still take him over AB. You could see on the sidelines it was eating him up. Trying to make a play. AB almost the same situation a few weeks ago, laughing on the sideline immediately after the Falcons took the lead. What a loser.

Hell of a game, and tough to deny which QB looked better tonight. Delhomme played his a** off, and I agree with Whodi that I\'d still take him over AB. At least Jake showed some emotion after the pick, and the emotion was NOT humor. Why we let him go, I still don\'t understand...
In any event, maybe the folks who think we\'ve still got playoff hopes are a little happier. I\'m not counting us out, but I am absolutely in doubt. But ... a Carolina loss can only help us, I guess. |

Saying I\'d take Delhomme over Brooks, isn\'t saying very much at all. I take one of the damn McCown sons over Brooks right now.

That Backup Offensive line \"excelled\" yesterday. This is classic nonsense by the master of classic nonsense. Jake had, ummm, lets see...well, I personally saw 2 fumbles and a key interception while being protected exceptionally well. Had his name been Aaron Brooks those 28 completions for 330 yards and 2 TD\'s wouldn\'t matter, you guys would want him hung from the highest tree, but somehow with Jake they do, even after he costs his team the game with a horrible pass in OT.
Brooks couldn\'t hold Jake\'s jock to be sure...there are too many posters on this site in line in front of him. |
C'mon Man...
