Not the kind of improvement I know we'd all hoped for, but I haven't given them the "poo on a stick" rating yet, so that's good.

Right now I'm just hoping to upgrade them to "Hmmmm" after the bye.
I like it. Highly objective and surprising technical sophistication with astute factual and historical comparisons. Nicely done.

Re: PFF Grades vs Tampa

Well the PFF reference post did what I should have posted by now...

Haralson has been outstanding; great return on a seventh round pick...

Galette, Lofton and Hawthorne should return their paychecks and turn in their helmets...

White got burned on that endzone shot (not sure why he pulled his hand back); but thought he made some solid stops as well...

Glad to see Patrick Robinson getting things turned around; hope he can get healthy and stay on this surge of his...

How can Brees throw a three picks (all really awful) including a pick-6 and still be rated as average?!?

Vaccaro/Bush seem to have great chemistry and that shouldn't be messed with any longer...

Armstead faced some pretty good pass rushers Sunday

The rest of that old, overpaid line is done - offensive line and linebacker are top of the priority list next offseason...

I'll say it now - he's making a case for All-Pro...

Foster seems to be stronger at the point of attack and has a mammoth bull rush...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Agree with every bolded line.

When I saw that flag go down, I thought for sure it was offensive PI, because no way would a corner be that far behind unless he got pushed back.

Hell if I wasn't wrong. Dead wrong. How do you get that far behind, THEN pull your hand back from the ball in flight?

I'll tell you how. Go outside. Run backwards, turn, run, turn again, spin your head around and then jump backwards while reaching in the air. How'd you do?

Galette: The Man in a Contract Coma.

That safety was awesome, but you gotta credit RR with that stunt call as it gave Junior a free shot. Execution on that play was on-point.

Good to see Jenkins in there. He steps up his play, and this defense will only get better. Like "Light's Out" better. It all starts in the middle.

Also, did y'all realize we are SECOND in the NFL with 5.2 per carry rushing?

Armstead. Armstead. He's the MAN.

And Football Outsiders (probably the 2nd best grading site) grades our O-line #2 run blocking and #9 Pass blocking.

Not bad at all.

Re: PFF Grades vs Tampa

Is it true that we've got a $100 million average quarterback?

You can win a SB with one of those, right?

Does $100MAQB come with a built in pick-6 generator?

If you factor in inflation, the Broncos won two Superbowls with a twilight, overpaid John Elway...

though it helped that he was complemented in that backfield by one of the great, underrated running backs in the history of the league in Terrell Davis...

Even if Denver and Atlanta are Masters of the Illegal, Bangkok Crack-Back Blocking Scheme...
