Why do you come here?
O-line, I wouldn\'t have disagreed until I was in the stands at the Dallas game. No pressure on Brooks all day, and he stunk more than he played even decent. Cowboys fans were talking him up before the game more than me, and all of them changed their opinions before the first quarter was out. I\'ll let you talk with a bud of mine who is a huge Cowboys fan who I went to the game with, and was a believer that AB was even a competent qb. You can ask him yourself how fast his mind changed after a series or two.
So what is AB\'s excuse for the Dallas game? No drops, o-line played great. No pressure on him all day. I am waiting for an answer to that one. So, let me tell you, if I play great for you(meaning the o-line) and you still stink, what is my motivation to continue to play great? And you may not think so, but Deuce is still a pro bowl caliber player. He is on pace for more tds this year than last year in two less games AND he has been playing hurt. Again, what\'s AB\'s excuse? |

saintswhodi--
The Dallas game? Hmm.. Let\'s just assume what you\'re saying is true. (I disagree) But let\'s say it\'s true. Are you trying to tell me becasue Brooks had a bad game against Dallas that the O-line hasn\'t been terrible this year? Again.. I ain\'t buyting that and no reasonable person would either. Why do you want to make excuses for our O-line? That tells me a lot about your thought process and what you want to blame this whole think on. You don\'t like Brooks and there\'s nothing wrong with that. Just don\'t let it blind you, my friend. I think Brooks has had an off year. And I thik he\'s himself is responsible for some of that. However, the lack of a running game, a terrible O-line and defense deserve MOST of the blame. Let\'s call a spade a spade here.... The O-line and lack of a running game has REALLY KILLED US? |

Why do you come here?
Tobias-Reiper--
So, what you\'re saying is.... McNabb ( Any QB) can be more accurate if he has help? Terrell made McNabb more accurate? Imagine that.... Then you go on to tell me how a QB can improve over the years with coaching etc.... You say all of that and I agree... Just pay more attention to your own opinions and we might agree here? |

Ab has had 4 years to get better, so has McNabb. Now who has actually gotten better, and who has had pro bowl players around him all those years on offense and still has not gotten better?
So i\'ll ask you Gumbo, if the o-line is the problem this year, what was the problem last year when AB was fumbling with NOONE even toughing him. Led the league in lost turnovers when our o-line was dominant. Got a reason for that? What about 2002? 15 INTs? What about 2001? 22 INT? Is the o-line and running game at fault then too? Now we see who truly has the blinders on. So when Ab throws an INT in the red zone on a 2 step drop WITH NO PRESSURE, that is the o-line\'s fault? What about when he fumbles on the goalline on a qb sneak? O-line\'s fault? What about that pass to Gandy? O-line\'s fault? Or that great pass to that Broncos lb? O-line\'s fault? Truly? Okay. Is it also the o-line\'s fault when he has no pressure and can\'t throw a touch pass 5 yards away? What about when he throws into double coverage? So I guess we see who doesn\'t like whom and what my man. Look in the mirror. And I hope AB keeps you on his PR payroll. Maybe you can lobby for Tesucky Jones too? |

Why do you come here?
Pardon me saintfan but what is Haslett supposed to say about his chosen APPOINTED savior at qb? He sucks at calling audibles. Do you ever expect to heat that phrase, even if it is true? Okay.
Haslett is also the man who praised Venturi and his defense AFTER we gave up 600 something yards of offense to the Vikes. Great example. I wonder if he will say how great McCarthy\'s play-calling is next. lol |

So you think Haz just made it up then...lying for the QB huh?
ummmm, OK. When you\'re on the field and can verify it then I\'ll listen, otherwise I\'ll take my cues from the coaches & players. |
