Why do you come here?

O-line, I wouldn\'t have disagreed until I was in the stands at the Dallas game. No pressure on Brooks all day, and he stunk more than he played even decent. Cowboys fans were talking him up before the game more than me, and all of them changed their opinions before the first quarter was out. I\'ll let you talk with a bud of mine who is a huge Cowboys fan who I went to the game with, and was a believer that AB was even a competent qb. You can ask him yourself how fast his mind changed after a series or two.

So what is AB\'s excuse for the Dallas game? No drops, o-line played great. No pressure on him all day. I am waiting for an answer to that one. So, let me tell you, if I play great for you(meaning the o-line) and you still stink, what is my motivation to continue to play great? And you may not think so, but Deuce is still a pro bowl caliber player. He is on pace for more tds this year than last year in two less games AND he has been playing hurt. Again, what\'s AB\'s excuse?

Why do you come here?

... and again, I have to use your post an an example:

Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinions !!
..that is right... EVERYONE is entiltled to his/her opinions... even those who do not agree with you... you know, \"those people\" who don\'t like being proved wrong...
I\'m a Saints fan. I\'ve had my mind made up that Haslett needed to be fired. But, you know what.. I\'m not so sure anymore.
... that is fine and dandy that you changed your mind on your own, but that has nothing to do with someone \"proving you wrong\" in a debate forum and you accepting it, does it?...

I\'ve heard folks say McNabb wasn\'t an accurate passer before. But seems like he\'s been pretty damn accurate this year. Some folks were wrong... Go figure, huh?
... here is one that you are trying to squeeze in, but it doesn\'t work for a simple reason: that McNabb seems \"damn accurate\" this year has nothing to do with how accurate he was the years before... he could be and/or seem more accurate this year because of Owens; working with a trainer/coach on mechanics, reading defenses; etc... this is like someone saying so-and-so is 10 years old in 2003, then telling that someone he\'s wrong because so-and-so is 11 today.

..now I\'ll take my advice...

saintswhodi--

The Dallas game? Hmm.. Let\'s just assume what you\'re saying is true. (I disagree) But let\'s say it\'s true.

Are you trying to tell me becasue Brooks had a bad game against Dallas that the O-line hasn\'t been terrible this year?

Again.. I ain\'t buyting that and no reasonable person would either.

Why do you want to make excuses for our O-line? That tells me a lot about your thought process and what you want to blame this whole think on.

You don\'t like Brooks and there\'s nothing wrong with that. Just don\'t let it blind you, my friend.

I think Brooks has had an off year. And I thik he\'s himself is responsible for some of that. However, the lack of a running game, a terrible O-line and defense deserve MOST of the blame.

Let\'s call a spade a spade here.... The O-line and lack of a running game has REALLY KILLED US?

Tobias-Reiper--

So, what you\'re saying is....

McNabb ( Any QB) can be more accurate if he has help? Terrell made McNabb more accurate? Imagine that....

Then you go on to tell me how a QB can improve over the years with coaching etc....

You say all of that and I agree... Just pay more attention to your own opinions and we might agree here?

Ab has had 4 years to get better, so has McNabb. Now who has actually gotten better, and who has had pro bowl players around him all those years on offense and still has not gotten better?

So i\'ll ask you Gumbo, if the o-line is the problem this year, what was the problem last year when AB was fumbling with NOONE even toughing him. Led the league in lost turnovers when our o-line was dominant. Got a reason for that? What about 2002? 15 INTs? What about 2001? 22 INT? Is the o-line and running game at fault then too? Now we see who truly has the blinders on.

So when Ab throws an INT in the red zone on a 2 step drop WITH NO PRESSURE, that is the o-line\'s fault? What about when he fumbles on the goalline on a qb sneak? O-line\'s fault? What about that pass to Gandy? O-line\'s fault? Or that great pass to that Broncos lb? O-line\'s fault? Truly? Okay. Is it also the o-line\'s fault when he has no pressure and can\'t throw a touch pass 5 yards away? What about when he throws into double coverage? So I guess we see who doesn\'t like whom and what my man. Look in the mirror. And I hope AB keeps you on his PR payroll. Maybe you can lobby for Tesucky Jones too?

Why do you come here?

I\'m Sorry Whodi, really I am, but this is just not true.

Not smart enough for the coaches to allow him to call audibles.
If you had listened to the Jim Haslett show on Monday you would have heard him praise Brooks for audibles on the field. This \"Brooks can\'t audible\" thing is a myth pushed by folks that want him blamed for EVERYthing, and it\'s just not true. It\'s these kind of statements -- clearly not accurate ones -- that get me going.

Why do you come here?

Pardon me saintfan but what is Haslett supposed to say about his chosen APPOINTED savior at qb? He sucks at calling audibles. Do you ever expect to heat that phrase, even if it is true? Okay.

Haslett is also the man who praised Venturi and his defense AFTER we gave up 600 something yards of offense to the Vikes. Great example. I wonder if he will say how great McCarthy\'s play-calling is next. lol

So you think Haz just made it up then...lying for the QB huh?

ummmm, OK. When you\'re on the field and can verify it then I\'ll listen, otherwise I\'ll take my cues from the coaches & players.

Here\'s your cue Saintsfan:

Haslett is also the man who praised Venturi and his defense AFTER we gave up 600 something yards of offense to the Vikes.
But you believe him all you like. I am sure he will take us to the Superbowl too. Do you want me to post all his articles in the pre-season about how much better the D was gonna be? He was on the field during training camp wasn\'t he?

You Said:

Article? Link? Quote? Or is this simply the opinion of a man dead-set on blaming the QB? I think it\'s opinion...watch the game Sunday and you\'ll KNOW it is, \'cause it certainly isn\'t factual.
