Brees killed us with his INT

There were all kinds of banana skins flying from the refs today. But his INT really killed us. Not hating on the man. Just saying. Things changed after that. Quickly.

Another week
Another back breaking pick thrown

The only difference about this loss is I don't know who deserves the blame more, The defense for allowing the long TD or brees throwing that pick 4 plays later

Entire team is an embarrassment.

The Golden Tate TD killed us... after that the homecrowd was back in the game, the Detroit Dline put some pressure on Brees and yes you were right he forced a stupid pass. BUT he played a terrific game up until then. No way the Gate TD should have been a first down, and of course not a TD

Corey white and Kenny Vaccaro don't deserve to be paid after messing up that badly.

Yup. Again he kills us with the bone headed play. We are stuck with an aging/old $100M pick machine. Good think he punched his HOF ticket earlier since he is not adding to the HOF credentials at this point. Not even sure he is a top 10 QB anymore.

As for the long TD. Sure that got the crowd back in it but we play into it by not running out some of the clock. You don't throw a pick in that instance. Take the sack and punt it and make them play a long field. A highschool QB knows this but our HOF QB seems to have forgotten it.

Yep interception was a bad decision and his fault but you also have to credit the Lions D for that pick. One thing I didn't see are those stupid ASS pitches he makes when he's going down trying to avoid the sack and get something going. He is horrible about that but you could tell yesterday he was making a conscious effort to NOT do that.
As for him being paid, his contract was just as much for what he has already done by helping us get to a SB than what he is going to do in the future.
We have always had a high risk high reward type offense and now age and the talent level of a lot of our players are making it difficult for us to continue that with winning results.

Wow , so you're telling me if he doesn't throw that pick we still lose ?

We can't blame the defense , after holding the lions offense on the road for nearly 3 quarters to 10 points.

The lions were bound to make an explosive play , but unfortunately this season we were bound to give the ball back via interception with a 4th quarter lead like always. And give them the ball already in scoring range as always. To say this one isn't on Drew is a lie , even he knows it , that's why he said it
