Oh well, that's their problem. Up next... San Fran in the dome |

Re: Defense
Still see Jr crashing in too much giving up outside runs. Both of Cam's big 3rd down conversions including the TD was because Jr crashed inside and left the outside run open.

Re: Defense
But he received the game ball and made arguably the best play of the game with the sack + strip at the 4 yard line, no one plays perfect

Re: Defense
Two stats that say a whole lot about last night.
Our offense played 76 snaps and were on the field for 35.18 minutes. Our defense played 57 snaps and were on the field for only 24.42 minutes. That looks like serious ball control to me... |

Re: Defense
Green Bay was a very good test for our defense at home... Aaron Rodgers is a fairly decent QB last I checked.
Carolina on the road.. I think again it was a good test. Defense really came through for us having 2 TO's early. I'm satisfied atm |

Re: Defense
Not to mention we had literally 3 days to rest and prepare after the Sunday night game.

Re: Defense
Honestly, it doesn't matter how under manned the offense of the Panthers was. The Saints are know to be ****ty on the road whether the other team is fully manned or not. They usually find a way to give it away. I'm extremely optimistic all of a sudden.
And question, is Byrd brought back next year? |
