2014 NFL Draft Trade Value Chart And crunching the numbers... First, DraftTek has a problem with their chart in that there's not enough point value between the 32nd pick (last pick of the first round) and the 33rd pick (first pick of the second round) because the first round picks, per the current CBA, can have a club option extra year added onto their contracts favorable to retaining a key player for a team favorable cap number... Secondly, we may be able to advance the 13 pick with a trade partner that would allow us to move back the 31st pick in exchange for an early second round pick and doing the same with our second round 12 pick for an early third round pick, the trade partner would gain siginficant ground by gaining an add'l 1st round pick and advancing their third round pick to a early-mid second round pick... Just spitballing... Still like the idea of huddling with the Redskins and redoing a contract for Galette to get us a favorable cap number this season (not that it matters now with the ideal free agents gone) and moving him and the 13th pick in exchange for the 5th pick... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
