Real question is: Do we overpay him or use that money for LB or solid veteran CB. I'd say let him walk. You can always find serviceable RBs.

Re: Mark Ingram approaching 1000 yards

Let's assume Mark hits 1,000yds and 10 tds. Those are career numbers (by far) and he'll definitely draw interest in the open market.

Loomis is carrying around $160mm into 2015 with a cap around $140mm. That's the most in the NFL.

Robinson is signed through 2015 and PT through 2016. It's not like we need to get into a bidding war but if we know one thing - none of our RBs make it through a full season.

IMO, you offer Ingram a 5 year, $28mm deal with about 70% guaranteed.

Pick up somebody in the draft. RB is never going to be the focal point of Payton's offense. It is what it is.

... 'pon the left hand side.

Let's see if he fumbles in the playoffs
If we make it that far

A fumble in the playoffs won't hurt his stock.

Sure we should try to keep him. Really there is not much else.

DUMP the man. He has a "fumbling problem".
