Sadly, many of these guys come from impoverished conditions and once the Big Mo arrives, you can put a fork in 'em - they're done...

You know, I wonder sometimes how prevalent this really is in the NFL. I see the new breed of NFL players like Ndamukong Suh, Cam Newton, Reggie Bush, Russell Wilson, RGIII, (the list goes on) et ... and I see guys that come from pretty solid backgrounds ... of course, none of those guys listed have reported having money problems either and I don't disagree that there still aren't players that have to overcome obstacles to an NFL career, just that it's not as common or as big an excuse as it has been in the past, :shrug:.
