Everyone needs to take a breath and relax
I understand the disappointment and heartache but my god stop the childish whining already. Did you really think that we were going to be a contender in the playoffs from the first month of the season you should have known that this year was going to be bad so this shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. This has been coming for a while now there has been no real changes to the play book they are predictable plain and simple. The offense has been the Drew and Jimmy show way to much the last few years. Sean and staff have to get back to spreading the ball around to differnt guys. We need a big tall wr while I like cooks we could have used a big tall wr more. Look at our wideouts after Colston they are pretty much all small guys size wise On the defensive side of the ball they really haven't adressed the awful linebacker and cornerback position yes added to the safety position but the weakest link is at corner and linebacker on defense has been for years. Last years defense was a fluke that set the team back that came back to haunt them this year

Re: Everyone needs to take a breath and relax
O line is the biggest need, first and foremost
The defense held the falcons to 13 points for nearly 4 full quarters, however the lack of pass rush is really disturbing Linebacker and cornerback are huge needs Number 1 receiver in the mold of AJ green, Julio Jones would help massively. |

Re: Everyone needs to take a breath and relax
Not being able to stop the local high school team is the #1 problem.
The o line is a problem yes but not the biggest |

Playoffs. Who cares!
SB...get real and that is for any team. Pipedream. Even now, for those teams who have clinched a spot and division title, still it is too far to say how playoffs will turn out and what team is SB bound. What did I, we expect with all this expensive talent that Saints have for 2014 season? A decent year. No team can win them all. Of course , they would lose some games by close points and some really badly. Common sense. Saints should have, with all of the expensive talent they have, been at least 9-7 in their pitiful division. Did I mention that the Saints sure have paid out some huge contracts for some expensive that did not produce much on the field? Even with the year going as it has for the Saints in their pitiful division, they should have gone 8-8. At least. To lose to AF at the DomeHome and making those comedy of errors when they were out there supposedly working, are that what annoys us all. That is what I think. |

Tell me 3 plays out the saints play book that you know predictable no execution is poor doesn't matter if you know what we're doing you still have to stop it Spreading the ball Drew is the Best at spreading the ball Who assumes that there team after one month of football is incapable of making the playoffs tell that to the giants Our front seven is our weakest link on defense Since when do you need a 6'5 wideout to have a successful offense? |

Re: Everyone needs to take a breath and relax
It's not childish to point out that we had a touchdown taken away from us.
It's called being logical and observant. That's two games that were literally ripped away from us in my view. It's a pattern and Goddell has it in for us, as does Blandino. |
