Colston led the way with a team-high six catches on 10 targets for 80 yards. Stills finished as the team's second leading receiving, posting six catches for 68 yards on eight targets. Toon cracked the 40-yard mark again with three catches for 44 yards in a 30-14 defeat.
Graham who recently set a career high drop count against the panthers, dropped yet another big third down conversion against the falcons to help set the tone early. Then the terrible TD call, but still was a fumble no matter. And in arguably the biggest game this season, Colston led all recievers. So many reasons this offense isn't clicking, but lack of protection ranks highest on my list.

Re: A bright spot

Colston? What about #9 scoring for the other team?

Re: A bright spot

We need a true #1 WR... not before addressing OL, LB or CB first, however. As was stated in another thread, Colston is a solid #2 or #3 WR now but at a greatly reduced salary.

Let's face it... we spread the ball around so much, I don't see the point. Stills and Cooks are more than capable of being consistent 80/1000 guys if we choose to utilize them in that manner.
Best damn post I've read this week.

One bad year. Give him a break....he's earned it.

Loomis said that when they drafted Stills, they envisioned him as that #1 go to guy,and I think he's making a good case for himself. I still don't get why some people have such a hard-on for a #1 wr. I'd rather have 2 or 3 damn good receivers than a #1 receiver.
