Many women take advantage of this, as saintfan has pointed out in previous posts. Unfortunately, it is part of many a divorcing woman's playbook to erroneously make domestic dispute calls in an effort to have their spouses arrested. Mine tried it a few times until I convinced the arresting officers that seeing as how there were no signs of an altercation and she was the one making the calls that maybe she should be the one taken into custody. Worked out well, never had another incident after that, :). Doesn't seem like that's the case with JG's situation though,. |

First off there is not a requirement by police departments to make an arrest on a domestic with "little or no evidence". That's illegal. And if you guys have dumb enough cops in your portion of country that do that (not saying you don't), then they won't be cops for very long. God, maybe I should just avoid these conversations. This is getting ridiculous. Like the guy who tells everyone he got pulled over for going 1 mph over the speed limit and got "screwed" by getting a DUI. Look, I know there are some messed up cops out there. But they are rare. And just because you dealt with a piece of **** doesn't mean most of them are. The piece of **** you dealt with is the minority, not the majority. Most officers do what we do to help and to take care of people. Most officers would take a bullet for you. Don't believe it? Go for a ride-a-long one day. |
Re: Junior Galette Arrested
And we're back...
Now, with regards to Junior Galette, these are issues, questions I have: First, does this woman have an alias? (i.e. Sweet Pea? You, doing a world tour?) Second, Junior was made a "team captain" and I keep wondering, was this a similar move to what the US Post Office does with employees who are problem children that they make them 'supervisors'? Third, it occurs to me that Galette's 'advisors' will earn more per hour than Warren Buffet gets for one of his power lunches in the 48 hours postpartyum... Fourth, talk about Rodney Dangerfield not getting any respect, Galette's arrest was the last news bullet on the NFL page on CBSSports.com, I'd like to know if Junior feels disrespected?!? Finally, regardless of roster bonus and guarantees as nothing is truly ever guaranteed other than death and taxes, could there be some moral contractual clause, commissioner action that would void remaining money, salary cap commitment to JG? If so, I'll pay the *****'s cab fare! Hell, I'll buy her an Applebee's steak & Air Fare back to Baltimore! Knowing Goodell, this time he'll **** us even more and leaves us to our own devices and stuck with Loomis' mistake!!! |
Re: Junior Galette Arrested
Wish he had shown some of that aggression on the field this season.

My ex before my most recent ex once slapped me across the face for calling her the dreaded C word. I know I shouldn't have, but I digress. After the slap her body postured like another may be on the way. I immediately informed her that if she hit me again I would call the police. With that she replied "Go ahead, I'll just tell them you hit me, who do you think they'll believe?" I thought about that and concluded she had a good point, lol. True story, too. |

Re: Junior Galette Arrested
I do love how the 'C' word is so reviled over there
Some people would be shocked over here i think. It can use used as a off the cuff remark Oh you silly .... Use often at soccer games, you ....... .... |

On the subject of JR, I could go either way. Unfortunately it seems like he has the maturity of a 12 year old. My only hope is we can get something done with his contract, because this could result in a 6 game suspension. |
