So we still have to clear about $1.5 million to $2 million to sign our draft picks. We'll do something with Jahri Evans and probably cut Rafael Bush. I hope we're not done in free agency... Still some serviceable players out there. I think we still need to add one more veteran CB.

the saints always make moves just before the dead line. baring a trade before the draft we probably will stand pat. draft. then add

Still a lot of ILBs available, good young talent too. I am kind of shocked about the slow down. Looks like all GMs are prepping for the draft.

So Mason Foster has officially signed with the Bears. Be honest folks... If you were told a few weeks ago that we'd be signing Dannell Ellerbe instead of Foster (without knowing the details of a trade being involved) would you be disappointed? Strictly based on your perception of both players before free agency started. Personally, yes.

we will see. i would have loved to have both.

Both are solid all around player

But Foster has that knack of being in the right place at the right time.

that to me is the biggest difference.
