Whatever the Saints do, they better let the man exit with some serious accolades and credit to the organization when the time comes. He's in the top 10 of Saints players that's for sure.

We need to move on from Colston about as much as we need to move on from Brees.

Losing Colston would leave the WR group with absolutely no leadership, and we all saw how well that worked out for the DBs last year.

Shockey was also limping. As Brees said recently, it's all about attitude and leadership. We had none of it this past season.

Sproles production dropped off, everyone on the D side knew how to play their D when Sproles was on the field, he was Brees go to guy. Now since he's gone Brees go to guy is Graham and just like when Sproles was on the field the D knows just how to game plan for the Brees to Graham connection. Our drop-off on the O-line has made things alot worse and believe this ,if that line don't get fixed and our high dollar TE don't start fighting off 189lb. CB's it's going to be a very long season. At Brees age ( window closing) a great ground game is going to be needed to compliment him. I would agree 100% our play calling has gone stale and been figured out by alot of D's. The O-line is fixable, I don't think that high dollar TE we have is.

He's exactly right!

Just like missing the stability of a formerly sure-handed wide receiver.

How did Sproles provide leadership that the other veterans on this team couldn't provide? I think this "leadership" thing can be blown out of proportion. Seattle is the youngest team in the NFL,and they seem to be doing just fine.

Not sure what there is to disagree with. He couldn't be more right. How many times did Sproles come up with the clutch 1st down... Us trying to replace him with Cadet was laughable.

We didn't try to replace him with Cadet

If we didn't need those 50, why did we need 1 not named Brees?
