Sadly what is the Saints loss is the Eagles gain. But if it is any consolation, at least Philly did not make the playoffs.

sproles started with a bang in philly , but as the season went he was being figured out, not counting being beat up like in new Orleans.

Definitely need a dislike button, no thank you for Bush.

Not sure that Sproles would have helped. Lack of protection for Brees was one of the biggest factors. In his last season with us, teams had figured out our Sproles plays.

I wonder what led to all the passes he dropped and the fumbles he committed?

For the right price I'd welcome Reggie back, he's an automatic upgrade on Cadet and could help draw coverages away from other players.

I don't think he's much of a significant upgrade anymore and any scat back draws coverages away from other players.

I think there are probably better options out there.

Yes, Sproles was factor. A factor of many factors.

There were mayn, many other factors.

For resigning Reggie Bush, no.
His best and better days are over.
I liked him for all he did here and , perhaps, there would have been no SB win without him that year. HE was a BIG factor in that year and the years leading up to the SB year. He was part of just the right mx at just the right time.

I like RBush. He was a pretty guy on and off the field.
All the best to him. I hope he just retires. N.O.-Saints--MiamiDolphins---DetLions. Just retire. He had a great college football run and a good run in the NFL. He should leave it before it leaves him.

An eye exam might do wonders for Colstons game.

Now since he's gone Brees go to guy is Graham and just like when Sproles was on the field the D knows just how to game plan for the Brees to Graham connection. Our drop-off on the O-line has made things alot worse and believe this ,if that line don't get fixed and our high dollar TE don't start fighting off 189lb. CB's it's going to be a very long season. At Brees age ( window closing) a great ground game is going to be needed to compliment him. I would agree 100% our play calling has gone stale and been figured out by alot of D's. The O-line is fixable, I don't think that high dollar TE we have is.

I agree with all of this 100%. Graham shows pitiful effort and I can't help but wonder if it's contagious. He doesn't block, break tackles or try hard to catch off-target passes. He is one of the highest paid players on the team. It's time for his effort to match his talent. I know he is one of the most dangerous pass-catchers in the league, and has sometimes looked like an NFL MVP, but this isn't basketball and if Jimmy wants to be remembered as a great football player, he's gonna have to start playing a little meaner and nastier.

Very true

If a pass isn't directly heading towards his chest Jimmy puts little effort in to catch it, most of the time he just sticks one hand out and bats the ball up into the air resulting in a pick.

The worst thing was when Jimmy started a fight pregame vs Seattle in the playoffs talking about how good he was, then he went on to catch 1 pass for 5 yards, with 3 drops and flinched every time he saw earl Thomas.
