Granted C J Spiller or Darren McFadden could come in and blow Ingram away...

but those are unknowns and what they'd accomplish or not is unknown...

we aren't exactly in the position to risk more dead cap money on unknowns at RB...

Has Ingram validated his trade/draft selection? Hell, no...Even Roll Tide fans will reluctantly admit that argument, but...

That's not on him, that's on the Saints Draft Selection Management...

What's on Ingram is to come to practice with 100% effort and attitude, put in the film and weight room plus-time needed to continually improve, and to play lights out giving all effort and ability to his teammates, coaches and Saints fans on game day...

It's not a lights out signing, but it's a good signing for a starting running back entering his prime...

My only concern is the contract year question...

But that's between Roll Tide and God...

I'm gonna give the guy the benefit of the doubt that he wants to win championships for his accomplishments and for New Orleans Saints fans...
