Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
quick look areas of need still
WR OT DT OLB ILB CB FS SS plenty of dead wood can be trimmed from safety position. draft picks or not. SS pretty much makes up 50% of the secondary roster count. call them FS if you want but on the field ss all the way. make room for more CB please |

Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
I'm still not sold on our current ILB roster.
What the hell do I know. |

Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
At the very least, it is very, very thin...
A draft of Vic Beasley, Carl Davis, Stephone Anthony sure would turn things around quickly... |

Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
As the roster is now...
These are the seven (7) burning questions that will affect draft decisions: (1) Is Tim Lelito capable of stepping into the starting role at Left Guard? (2) Do we stand pat at WR and allow Toon, Coleman, Jones and Saunders to have an extended audition or do we spend a high draft pick at WR? (3) Do we spend a mid-round pick (r3-r5) on Tight End or do we see what we can did up in the UDFA mine? (4) Do we extend the contract of Cam Jordan or do we draft his replacement in the first two rounds? (5) Do we finally start investing first and second day picks on linebackers or do we stay in mediocrity and draft even more offensive weapons? (6) Do we have enough talent at cornerback and wait to spend a first rounder on a CB? Does SJB step up and fill out the CB corps? (7) Can a team have too many safeties? |
Re: 2015 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
Throughout the offseason discussion, it's still apparent we're thin at offensive line and the front seven on defense...
First three picks really need to be defensive front seven... Around the third round we need to start taking offensive linemen... |
