Is the Brees trade rumors true?

If we send Brees out of here, either we have a real good feeling about a QB or we are tanking due to the family issues with Benson. I don't believe we are letting Drew go. I think SP is sending a message that things have changed, get on board or gtfo.

We are retooling oline and will make moves on d to be competitive on that side of the ball and for our o to be dynamic again.

Could be wrong though

Drew is not going anywhere. We all know that. By reportedly opening up the roster - at least the mere mention of it - lights fires and puts everyone on notice. Not a bad thing coming off the year we just did.

The NFL has a Madden-esque quality about it this offseason. I guess anything is possible. If the Saints don't win this season, next years offseason will include a true house cleaning.

I think the Bucs trading for him was the biggest giveaway it was a joke.

With Jimmy, we don't play the Seahawks this year in the RS. TE's and RB's are also fairly beat up at the end of the season. It's almost a miracle if they can play at a high level in the playoffs. Also, the Seahawks play some of our division rivals...yes, they still have to face him! This stuff is a lot more calculating.
