Re: Just say NO to a Wr in the first round ...
Great responses everyone ... Thanks
I think the Saints would consider one of the top ol or olb/pass rushers at 13. A wr at 31 would be good. I just don't think wr would be the wisest choice at 13 given the talent that may be available on ol or on defense. There are other options better suited to our needs. Honestly, I think the Saints won't choose a wr at 13 but, nothing would totally surprise me at this point. |

You have to think about the tendencies of the front office.... They needed defense last year.... but jumped up to select Brandin Cooks ( reach if you look at all the WR talent that popped of the board) This year they say they are committed to fixing there defense.... I WILL BELEIVE IT WHEN I SEE IT!!!

Maybe throw in a QB somewhere in there like Sean Mannion in the 3rd. Who knows really.

I had the same train of thought Vegas ... although I could see them picking up Collins or Scherff at 13 then bpa at 31 unless one of the pass rushers are there at 13. Just don't feel we HAVE to have one of the top wrs. Saints have done so much more with less under Sean Payton at wr ...
