True our offensive line was horrible this year, but last year wasn\'t the case. We still haven\'t been able to utilize Stallworth, Williams, Conwell, or Pathon effectively this year or last. I say that McCarthy\'s contract expired at the perfect time. Conwell and Williams need to start producing to justify the contracts that they currently have. If not, we need to go to our cheaper alternatives because they certainly aren\'t earning that money. That money can be invested elsewhere because we have many glaring needs on our team. |

Boo Williams Revived?
It seems we all agree on one thing: he should be given another year to prove himself. Whether it was the Oline or his undeveloped potential, he should be given another chance to prove himself.
BMG, I think that is an interesting idea. I think though papz may be right though - he\'s been groomed to be a TE. His blocking has improved noteably, so I see no reason to change his position (though I could see using him instead of Hall less often). I do like the idea of swinging him out occasionally - like an H-back - that would create some mismatches. I\'ll continue to look for stats, but it seems to me his 30+ catches are pretty good for a TE in a rotation; so far, I haven\'t noted any TEs with more than 55 catches. |

How often do those progressions involve someone behind him or call for an underhanded toss? Just wondering. I\'m just trying to learn from a guy who really understands the technical side of the game. :smile_bounce:

I hope that Boo is a Saint going into next season, seems that he comes on strong towards the end of the season, seems to be improving little at a time.

Oh yeah and GBC if Boo wasn\'t the first two options in a pass play that tells me there is lack of confidence in him

Boo Wiliams was a bigger disappointment than Deuce, Riley, Thomas, and Sullivan.
Its time to find yet another TE. Boo makes a decent back-up but is a long way from starter material. |
