A safety for SHADOW???
Maybe this means he actually thinks we need to upgrade the Safety postition...
Noone is looking to see what Jim thinks he needs so they can thwart his plans or something... It\'s not some clever plan..you think Jim could be stealthy in any way?...I don\'t .. Truth is ..we do need to get a solid Safety...I\'m not going to act like this solidifies my piont further...Whether Jim says it or not..It\'s just a fact... There aren\'t really any super star safeties coming out in Free Agency...We will have to address it in the Draft...and it will be on the First day of the Draft...although..I have said it before...Venturi couldn\'t make a solid defense out of all NFC pro bowlers...so..until he leaves..we can expect the same results..no matter who we get... |

the eagles arent going to try hard to resign corey simon so he is on the list.
a veteran lb seems a right fit for leadership and experience with such youngsters there. quite a few solid db\'s going out to market possibly as well- rolle, darius, surtain, smoot, etc. i am skeptical of this front office shaking things up also. they seem stuck in this 4 year mire of mediocrity in record and schizophrenia in performance. after falling short again, in retrospect, instead of the 4 win finish it might have been better to finish 4-12, have the 2nd to 4th overal pick and have substantial change. but we\'re fans so we hope against hope again and again. 80 days to the draft, woohee! |

Peterson tore his ACL. Who knows if he will ever be the same. AND the Postons are his agents and want a Peyton Manning sized bonus for him and a huge contract. No way I want that headache. winborn would be a better more inexpensive choice if we are going that route. Also, no way we give up our first with that. That would be for their first and Winborn. Maybe our second, but unlikely.
