Re: Jahri Evans
But Peat isn't gonna beat out Strief at right tackle. Even coach said when we drafted Peat that none of Armstead, Strief or Peat would be moving to guard. That's kinda why I'm still PO'd that we used the #13 pick on a backup right tackle.

Re: Jahri Evans
Yeah I know what he said, but I am sure if season is on the line they'll get the 5 best out there. I was hoping we would have got Mathis, this is concerning.

He's 31. I hate to say it, but it just might be time.

Re: Jahri Evans
The Saints need to roll Drew some. Get him off the one spot and make the team less predictable. Everyone who has had success against Drew has done so with heavy pressure in his face. Unger will help with that some. Running more will help with that as well. But, a few rolls thrown in will keep the defense guessing even more.

Drew has usually made teams pay when they try to bring extra pressure because he has a lightning quick release and amazing accuracy. But if the the guard play is so bad, teams get quick up the middle pressure without committing an extra man, it could be bad for Drew or any QB. Teams cannot really game plan for that. |

Re: Jahri Evans
I suppose they could trade him for a snickers bar and place it where Jahri would have been. Perhaps the defender will see it, and will want to get away.
I see no legitimate reason to doubt this plan. |

Re: Jahri Evans
Evans isn't what he use to be... The RT Peat pick still makes no sense at all to me... With the questions we have at Guard .....
