this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; For the investment, I'd keep both Griffin and Grayson... If Brees goes down, even an experienced backup at the helm of a Payton offense is not going to be enough to offset a suspect defense... You'll have more leverage, better ...

If Brees goes down, even an experienced backup at the helm of a Payton offense is not going to be enough to offset a suspect defense... You'll have more leverage, better bargaining chip in trading Griffin than a McCown since Grayson seems to be Payton's guy going forward... The two younger quarterbacks looked impressive; really liked how Griffin settled down after a first couple of downs of the nerves... |
