McNabb and the Eagles
Much like Peyton Manning, McNabb played very poorly against the Pats defense.
The only difference was McNabb was able to make more plays against the Pats defene than Petyon Manning. And McNabb did it with a lesser supporting cast!! But, still, McNabb was the MAIN reason the Eagles lost the game. He wasn't the only reason. I think the Pats team had a lot to do with it. But, McNabb made some stupid throws that cost his team points when the Eagles offense was in Pats territory or in the redzone. You can't do that against the Pats and expect to win. McNabb seemed to have thought he needed to carry the Eagles offense on his back and he tried to do too much and it cost him and his team. The Eagles defense played well enough to win. And the Eagles sholud have won. They left at least 6 points on the field. They only lost by 3. Note: The Pats beat Peyton and the Colts 20-3. They only beat the Eagles 23-20. It was a very good game!! [Edited on 7/2/2005 by GumboBC] |
