The screen pass will work once Spiller is on the field. He would have absolutely burned Arizona yesterday on a couple plays. And trust me one game changer like that will be a difference it will bring excitement back. Thats what we need something BIG to happen.

Never will be. As a Number two or slot he might have all pro written all over him. The saints have never had a true #1 WR under SP

He's getting older and he has taken a beating over the years. It been showing for the past 3 years. But he is still better than most of what we have right now.

I am not ready to throw Colston under the bus, especially after 1 game; Saints already broke my heart when they released PT!

There is someone on the board that can reason things...

I am interested to see us provide the same effort at home. We hopefully get a win against the Bucs, but this will be a fight because it is divisional and they got throttled last week. I expect a better result this week. Now if we do not put forth the same effort and look like last year then I will get worried about SP.

Its the same Payton we've seen since he became our coach. He just went against a good defense on the road, with a 50% roster turnover, and we still put up 408 yards.

408 yards sure. I read this somewhere yesterday and thought it made the most sense when describing the offense on Sunday

152 of the Saints’ 408 total yards came on just three of their 70 plays. Almost forty percent of their yardage came on four percent of their snaps. They earned very little and sustained almost nothing

Truth

408 yards is nothing when your 1-4 in the redzone.

All are legit points, ineffective red zone offense was a killer, missing opportunities for turnovers was a killer, but come on, it was the first game on the road against a good team. If the Saints had somehow pulled it out, this board would look so different.
