and I stole that line from Bill Belichick. Who won SB's with kickers,running, great QB, and the last one was all defence. A Team.
Im not seeing a team here yet, just hearing alot of excuses why they lose.
Teams aren't built in one season. That 2009 team took years to construct.

12 rookies. 50% roster turnover. Critical injuries. First game of the season.

Not even Bellichick could coach his way around that. What you're seeing is a process. This team will get better as the season goes and adds starters.

You don't see a team. I see hustle and mistakes on the way to building a team.

Tampa was a perfect example.

The young players stepped up. Despite an anemic offensive performance, the defense put us in a spot to win.

Had Brees not been injured due to poor blocking, we'd be 1-1.
