Dr Andrews, not questioning him, he can likely play. Play well, I doubt it. We will start winning when we can hit receivers beyond 15 yards multiple times a game. If he can't do it we can't win.

If he plays, we'll see tons of screens and slants and running plays. Doubt if we see a throw longer than 15 yards.

The first question becomes: is the Payton/Brees regime in a "must win now" mode?

If it is and both men fear their job security next year, you can bet he'll play. If both men are secure in tanking this season (or at least the first 1/3 of it), then Brees sits.

The 2nd question is:

Is a 'X' percent Drew Brees > 100% McCown or Grayson

At 80% or above I say yes, but is Brees anywhere near 80% come Sunday?
