Anytime someone is serious about Tebow playing QB I immediately lose any ounce of respect for their opinion about football

well, no, it isn't that at all, but what I was saying was I did not see his post when I made mine so I wasn't intentionally posting under his post to slam or attack him

Two things:
If Luke McCown were to win a game or two while Drew is injured then you can bet the calls to replace and trade Drew would echo throughout the land.
The National pundits would be screaming for change.

Payton could put in Grayson and let him get game experience because if Drew is injured we've got to look to the future. However, Payton is too stubborn to take even a small chance of losing and having it reflect on the final schedule. Hell, Payton wouldn't even try to get a better draft spot when we played Tampa last year. So they tanked the game and got the premium draft spot.

the reason I don't want Grayson yet is because the team isn't playing well and I wouldn't want his confidence to get crushed

Because we didn't see crap in the preseason and we are getting pieces back on defense to protect the offense.
