Time will tell what kind of player Hicks is. And if he goes on to NE and plays well then it's yet another failure by our own organization.

Good point, I think we have an idea how this one plays out.
One thing is faith is very low for our D staff. And some players
flourish on other teams, well except Bushrod and a few others.

This guy can not be any worse than the ones we have. Hicks was a FA next year anyway. Not like we were going to resign him.

He was a JAG (just a guy), and we addressed a weakness that may help us this year.

There was a reason his ass was benched Sunday. My guess is that we have guys who are better players than Hicks.

And they're just now figuring that out week 3 of the regular season .....finally came to their senses maybe coaching/scouting is a problem you would've thought this would had happen already why keep him for this long

This is right. A decision was going to have to be made on Hicks. This shifts the onus to the Patriots. Who knows, we may decide to pick him up as a free agent next year at a fraction of what he would have demanded in a new contract.
