So he has to temper his remarks based on your assertion of GUTLESS?? He didn't demand to leave the Saints, he was traded in a manner that some would consider gutless. Keep telling yourself we are a better team without Graham.... Repeat it 5 times a day as you click your heels and sip your Abita.

Re: Jimmy Graham
We are 0 - 3 going on 0 - 16, why obsess over a player who isn't here?
Speaking of Reggie Bush and Meachem.......... |

Re: Jimmy Graham
Me too, and I own them. ALL of them. And that's the difference between me and Jimmy I guess. I thank my Grandpa for that. I wonder who Jimmy blames?

That wasn't clear enough? And if you want to talk about blame, why did Jimmy sign if he hated it here so much? It's because he didn't hate the Saints until, Apparently, now after he got traded.
I saw you tell someone that the trade could be viewed as gutless. How is that possible? There are a lot of gutless things I could point to, from players to coaches, but that trade isn't one of them. We went 7-9 WITH him last year. Was it his fault? No, though his amazing ability to disappear in big games didn't help. The point is that we needed more assets and trading Jimmy afforded that opportunity. That's not an easy decision to make. But you say gutless? You might want to rethink that statement. We're not a very good team right now, but Jimmy being gone isn't why. Drew can't throw the ball more than 15 yards with any accuracy or zip, we have a crappy offensive line, a leaky defense and a dearth of talent at WR. Jimmy would be getting double covered and throwing up alligator arms in traffic. And finally, if the Saints players don't find it disrespectful that a former player is talking crap about them, then they have no pride and can jolly well follow him out the door. Jimmy is asserting that we suck. Do we suck right now? Yeah. If you've read this board you would know that isn't exactly in question. But those guys didn't do anything to him, and he's talking garbage after he's gone. That's what's gutless. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

I take umbrage when fans talk **** about a players loyalty to management who traded him like a thief in the night. Kool aid drinkers only see it one way, when the guy that they cheered as he dunked after scoring touchdowns for us...was traded by the same mgmt. Now
he's disloyal???? |
