Brees will start against Cowboys

I just don't want to see the same scenario we had with Brooks, man was hurt still out there. It's Better for Brees, the team and fans if he is healthy as he can get. We have a solid back's up in the meantime. No point in putting everyone through it. If Doc Andrews thinks it's a good idea and Brees feels good then let's roll.

IF!!!!!! Drew is now fully fit for Sunday's game then we should be fine!

I'm sure the Coaching staff know what they are doing and are following the medical staffs reports as well.

I really want to see Drew have a great game against the Cowboys but please, please don't start him if there is the slightest sign that the shoulder isn't 100% yet!

I would assume the Cowboys D are going to be looking to put as many hits on that shoulder as they can and that could mean big trouble for Drew, for the rest of the season if/when they get to him!

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees told Ellen DeGeneres that he will “absolutely” play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Brees, in his awesome guy fashion, also surprised two fans with an inspiring gift.

Brees appeared on “Ellen,” affirming that he would be back in action after taking a week off due to an injury he suffered against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“First of all, I love you. You know how much I love you. How are you feeling, and I need you to play this Sunday. Are you gonna play this Sunday?” DeGeneres asked Brees.

“For you, absolutely,” Brees said.

Joking and smirking aside, Brees said he is “very confident” he will be able to play.

“I practiced today; I feel good, so we’ll see how it progresses. But there’s not anything that’s gonna keep me off the field this Sunday,” he told Ellen.

Drew being back is beyond awesome, but I hope we get the running game going to help him out. Even though he is healthy we don't need to over work his arm or shoulder. Get Spiller and Robinson some more touches and for the love of god come up with some better blocking schemes for Ingram and we are getting are first W. A good running game is a QB's best friend.

I identify this team as being winners. I know what the record is on the surface but inside, I have always felt this way, even as a child I knew I was different constantly rooting for a losing team.

If he throws 4 TD he's probably fine if he throws 4 INT.'s I don't want to hear, well he must still be hurt. Goes both ways. I do want to see the deep ball throws with accuratcy.
