If he can make accurate 25-35yds throws I'm fine.

Nowadays only Rodgers scares defenses with his deep ball (not including bums that throw it out there and hope something will happen). Other "elite" QBs like Manning and Brady are playing dink and dunk.

Heck, if we ran the wishbone option the rest of the season and somehow got to the playoffs, I'd be ecstatic!!!

I think the offense has to throw deep. Colston has became a liability underneath unless he is wide open. Even still he may not catch it. If you look at other teams like GB, their WR's will haul in some difficult grabs. I don't think we have that on this team. We don't have that anymore so you have to stretch the field to create passing lanes or get the PI.
