Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
Ingram has been running hard with effort. I like him, but would love to see Robinson have the majority of carries.

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
OK here is a Stat Line:
Mark Ingram - 307 yds 4 TD 3.5 YPC / 27 Rec 230 yds He has 537 all purpose yards on the year. His YPC is down from last year, but our o-line stinks and anyone that argues that is blind. He's second on the team in receptions and first in YAC. Sorry, I don't think he's doing bad at all. Ivory doesn't play for the Saints anymore, so I don't care what his stat line is, nor do I care how good or bad he is doing. I care about what the Saints are doing, not the Jets or Ivory. Robinson is a great change of pace back. His YPC is slightly more (3.9) but Ingram is much more versatile (see the receptions and YAC). Robinson is a good #2, but he's definitely not "better" than Ingram. Just my 2 cents. |

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
Can anyone explain why we have C.J. Spiller on this team if Payton won't use him? It can't be that he really sees Ingram as a superior RB, can it?
I don't get it. |

On Ingram.... I don't think we utilize him well. If he wasn't on the team, I don't know who the leading receiver for this season would be. |

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
Spiller has had a series of injuries that prevented him from participating in the preseason and the first several games. He doesn't have the same level of familiarity of the playbook or audible system that the other backs have. You will notice that his reps are in situations where options are limited.

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
Let anyone of our 3 running backs stay in the game for any length of time, heck even 1 series without substituting and you will see an improvement. All 3 will run hard and with purpose but can't blame any of them for not being able to build up any rhythm. Point the finger at the coaches for making the plays so obvious and taking them out after one play.
