Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
I actually saw him move a pile plenty of times even though he had zero room to run. I think his lack of production is more of an O line thing. KR isnt exactly lighting it up either. Ingram runs mean and nasty and gives 100%.
He is tough and gets a lot of momentum and for all we know Payton wants him to run straight at the defense just to wear them down. I screamed about getting rid of Ingram until the middle of last year. Now I think I want him here. |

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
We keep Ingram and trade Ivory and look at what happened. I just do not see what SP sees in this guy.

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
From another thread, same issue...
Simple Solution - Declare Mark Ingram has a Groin Injury, Sit Him... Run Khiry Robinson and/or C.J. Spiller for a couple of games... If you have more success, trade Ingram to the G'nats or dem' Cowboys for a King's Ransom... If you still suck, get off Ingram's arse (though he goes down way to easy on first, initial contact), and sign/draft some road graders (like Clint Boling)... |

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
I said two years ago at Ingram's last breakout game (Dallas at home) that I hope he starts stringing them together. That applies today as well. I'd love it if he could run like this all the time.
I'm officially off his back for a while. LOL That second half was terrifying |

Ingram is twice the back Robinson is.

Re: Ingram, Ingram, Ingram
How? Because of one game? Ingram did a good job of taking advantage of his space yesterday and not running up the back of an offensive lineman like he does so often. I'll give him his due on that. But those WERE huge holes he was running through, and he was getting all the carries. Then the line suddenly stopped opening those holes and neither Ingram nor Robinson were having any success. Robinson wasn't getting the ball when the going was good, other than two goal line scores.
Khiry has shown more consistent ability, in my opinion, of getting the most out of what room he has. There just isn't typically much room for anybody. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
