this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Leroi Glover- The Cowboys are gearing up to switch from the 4-3 to the 3-4 as their base defense next season, and are shaping their free-agency and draft plans accordingly. That might mean the Cowboys would need to sign a ...

Leroi Glover-
Mark Fields- With him being a free-agent, and Haslet admitting he wished he hadn't let him get away (along with Glover), I'd love to see us make a run at him. |

Want them back?
.. as much as I would love to see Mark Fields iback as a Saint, he is not leaving Carolina, and money is not going to be an issue there... while Fields\' statement of \"if they throw 2 bucks my way, I\'ll stay\" is obviously a strecth, the way the Panthers org stood by him, not only morally but financially as welll, during his illness, means a lot ot him.. ... btw, if Glover is indeed released, don\'t be too surprised to see him land in Carolina... ..and to answer the orginal question, yes, I would love to have them both back.. |

Problem with Glover is, if the switch does take place, they would probably move him to end, due to the lack of talent they currently have at that position. DE is one of their top priorities this offseason.

Fields ain\'t coming back. He was so happy with the way Carolina treated him while he fought cancer, he has publically said that he\'d play for anything, just so long as they ask him to come back. We\'ll see if he really means that, but I don\'t think he\'ll go anywhere.

I doubt Haz was making the personnell decisions with Randy holding the throne. Randy wasn\'t anyone\'s bean counter. He made some good decisions, and some bad ones, but mostly good ones. I don\'t think he\'s as good a GM as most think, but I think he\'s better than what we have now. |
