Seriously, I've offered to shuttle plays direct from Live chat but the organization has rejected my offer twice. Crowd-coaching.... |

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Can't help but wonder from afar that there are two (2) schools of thought, philosophies about defense in the Saints organization (before Dennis Allen's arrival)...
Question I want asked, pressed by the media is "why did we draft and make moves for 3-4 personnel and then decide to reverse course after the Cam Jordan contract extension?" This backstory is a best selling book among Saints' Nation right now... |

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
I would like to go in the college direction for a new DC. I wouldn't mind giving the DC for Alabama a call, and whoever seen that game against LSU this weekend knows exactly what I'm talking about. I know LSU isn't an offensive juggernaut, but Fournette was averaging 190 yards a game and they held him to 36 yards. Most of those yards came from one good run. That's what a good DC does. Outstanding job.

Re: Fire Rob Ryan
Defense is young and now wounded. I keep Ryan. The game was lost by the TEAM. Special teams. Fumble....turns into points. Missed field goal....game goes into overtime. In scoring position....interception. Important drive...holding penalty by Cooks. Get off Ryans back. It's a whole team thing. Never did like scapegoating.

I know the answer and I know a bunch on hear know the answer. Its called preperation, game planning. This was a 1-6 team. Do you see the Patriots or Greenbays of the world losing to 1-6 teams? Never.

Not saying that Allen is the answer but it definitely isn't Rob. He has no game plan. We need serious help on defense & dysfunction starts at the top. No we will not get off Rob's back . This is embarrassing. |
