No it had nothing to do with why we lost. We lost for a variety of inexcusable reasons. I just have to say how blatent it has gotten. Horrible calls all game against us and JUUUUUUst enough in our favor to make it seem random. The NFL wants the Panties undefeated and its obvious. The NFL has manipulated the game so much by officiating, stregnth of schedule, blah blah blah that they can pretty much put any team they think is going to get them the best ratings in the drivers seat for the Super Bowl. Yea they will be a few teams like us that stink it up so bad that even god himself couldnt get them in the Super Bowl but I guarantee they have a list of 3 or 4 teams in each conference every year they can push one way or another to get the outcome they want.
Pair that with fantasy football and this **** will be like wrestling. |

Re: officiating
I think I have heard the funniest thing Payton has ever said. Funny because it's so true. He started his presser saying he told himself he's not gonna talk about the refs and then said, there were 2 times they had 12 men in the huddle, no flag. He then said, the refs on Friday nights get that call right..lmfao

Re: officiating
Special team Wilson penalized for personal foul while the saint's kick returner is body slammed off the field of play.

Re: officiating
IDK if I think this every year, but the officiating is the worst I've ever seen. The calls, the non-calls, the game-changing calls ... seems like it's happening in every game, every week. Is the game too fast for 'em? Do they need full-time refs? Do they need to review every call? What's the answer? It is affecting the outcome of games, .

Re: officiating
That penalty on Ingram for throwing the ball at the wall... What the heck was that all about?! Pretty sure I've seen that done a million times.

Re: officiating
IDK either, I think the refs were just reacting to the woman standing next to the photog Ingram threw the ball over ... she was pretty animate, . Good example of a bad/questionable call, regardless.

Re: officiating
the officiating was so bad I have rank it up there at top of the dung pile. If the NFL wanted conspiracy theories to end this game did little to help there cause. Browner did some bone head things but I will admit some of the penlites he got called for were not called on the panthers. He must be on the NFL hit list.
We lost this game do to bonehead mistakes in the secondary and the inability to stop the run on the edges yet again. 2 TD i credit them to Chris Owens and Kyle Wilson and their bone head play. This is what happens when back ups start. Leaving Browner of all people out on the island of misfit toys all by himself was, is and always will be a mistake. we know that. that is one reason i was so so about the signing. saints are not deep in the secondary when it comes to veteran talent. One injury and the mad hatters tea party commences. |
