Thomas is probably the second biggest receiver in this draft behind Treadwell. He's 6'3 220+ pounds. Everyone else is 6'1 or shorter, 200 or smaller.

We already have two short wideouts and we really do not need a third so we can just rely on specific plays for Brees to throw deep. And if a player weights less than 200 I worry about the longevity. I think Doctson is going to be injury prone until he gets bigger.

Okay you were talking about Garrett not Thomas. Might as well make the Thomas pick if you think Coleman won't be good.

as a first rounder I never understood. In the second he is an option. what I like is his silky smooth route running. He is a natural WR with great hands. Size and top end speed are the knocks but being were you are suppose to be goes a long way in the saints offense. A big plus is this over-*the*-middle toughness. He reminds me of Keenan Allen, Lmao I just google him and NFL did the same thing. Allen was compared to Jordy Nelson, maybe I should rethink this. But will Boyd drop into the 3rd round? Allen shocked many by being there in the third because of the same type of knocks against him.

But it is the mid to late rounds I think the saints will take a WR as usual

Tajae Sharpe, WR, UMass 6025 200 4.55
Geronimo Allison, WR, Illinois 6021b 197 4.59
still looking a few others

Couple of 7/UDFA?
Cody Core WR Mississippi 6025 205 4.45
Mike Thomas, WR, S. Miss 6025 210 4.52
Trevor Davis, WR California 6011 188 4.42

Actual this might turn out to be one of the better class of UDFA at WR that we have seen in while
I honestly dread UDFA players. I know we have Ireland now but we are still waiting on a UDFA to show up(WR).

LMAO...Will, thought we were talking about Tyler Boyd...

Can hear my old grade school English Grammar teacher fussing about pronoun reference, ambiguity...

Don't like investing draft picks in Greg Lewis (nee' Eagles) types, never knew when they'd be available because the body types couldn't take the NFL physicality...

Absolutely can't stand Michael Irving, but the guy was a warrior on an island; see Treadwell as a better version and that's is why I'm banging the drum for the pick...

UDFA are cheap and have no job security. they are like Vegas party favors.

still trying to figure out what is going on with Mike Thomas, WR, S. Miss. he is listed anywhere from a 4th rounder to UDFA. so I really have no idea were to put the kid in a draft. his tape says one thing the snubs say another.
