2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Ok some have asked to start the draft bit so with college bowl season getting under way I felt now is a good time. So to keep it simple I started with a loose top 50 with quick one liners for each.
1 Joey Bosa DE Ohio State Jr 6-5 275 just do not see all the hype 2 Laremy Tunsil OT Ole Miss Jr 6-5 305 see upside and solid projection 3 Jalen Ramsey CB Florida State Jr 6-1 202 Jack of all trades master of none. Solid run support and coverage skill 4 Ronnie Stanley OT Notre Dame rJr 6-6 315 RT LT RG LG makes no difference he can do them all 5 Paxton Lynch QB Memphis rJr 6-6 230 One year wonder in a spread offense? scares me 6 Jared Goff QB California Jr 6-4 210 Way to many excuses for the UCLA win loss records for me no deny the skill set 7 Jaylon Smith OLB Notre Dame Jr 6-3 240 ILB/OLB th solid run and coverage skills set. 8 Myles Jack OLB UCLA Jr 6-1 245 Mr impact all over the feild but I question steady play 9 Laquon Treadwell WR Ole Miss Jr 6-2 210 Size hands and great burst in and out of cuts. quick not fast 10 DeForest Buckner DE Oregon Sr 6-7 290 I just do not get all the love. He disappears not only plays but entire games 11 Vernon Hargreaves III CB Florida Jr 5-11 199 Coverage skills are solid but he is a ball tackler first and a drag down tackler second. 12 Taylor Decker OT 3 Ohio State Sr 6-7 315 Solid blocker but I have seen him beat by lesser talent too often 13 Reggie Ragland ILB 1 Alabama Sr 6-2 252 He is the plugger in the draft against the run. 14 Robert Nkemdiche DT Ole Miss Jr 6-3 296 I see the talent on paper but not on the feild 15 Emmanuel Ogbah DE 3 Oklahoma State rJr 6-3 275 Mystery hyped player that is my number one hype temptation 16 Ezekiel Elliott RB 1 Ohio State Jr 6-0 225 Solid all around back 17 Mackensie Alexander CB Clemson rSo 5-10 195 One year wonder? still not sold on him 18 A'Shawn Robinson DT Alabama Jr 6-3 312 Mr steady at DT but nothing flashy 19 Connor Cook QB 3 Michigan State rSr 6-4 220 Mr it aint over till its over. For the QB class of 2016 20 Leonard Floyd OLB 3 Georgia rJr 6-3 232 Talk about disappearing dispirit the talent around him. 21 Andrew Billings DT 3 Baylor Jr 6-1 310 A DT with success against spread offenses is nothing unusual 22 Kenny DT 4 UCLA Jr 6-2 310 A DT with success against spread offenses is nothing unusual for DT but he did play against pro sets 23 Jack Conklin OT 4 Michigan State rJr 6-6 318 Solid OT with upside that will be serviceable for years to come 24 Corey Coleman Injured WR Baylor rJr 5-10 190 Can he survive the NFL? 25 Shaq Lawson DE 4 Clemson rJr 6-3 270 Another 1 year wonder that IMO is less of a risk than Emmanuel Ogbah 26 Jarran Reed DT 5 Alabama Sr 6-3 313 her is my favorite DT on the Bama front 4. He does all the dirty work 27 Jonathan Bullard DE Florida Sr 6-3 283 Were did he go is my question but when he flashes he is good 28 Jonathan Allen DE 5 Alabama Jr 6-3 283 My second favorite of the Bama front 4. Solid well rounded and disciplined. 29 Germain Ifedi OT 5 Texas A&M rJr 6-5 325 Once again spread OT are a project 30 Tre'Davious White CB LSU Jr 5-11 191 All upside pick with plenty to work with but not a finished project 31 Derrick Henry RB 2 Alabama Jr 6-2 242 Need a work horse? look no further 32 Michael Thomas WR 2 Ohio State rJr 6-3 210 A bit of an in enigma to me. Do the QBs take all the blame here? 33 Jason Spriggs OT 6 Indiana Sr 6-6 305 No player in the draft has helped his stock more just with their play alone 34 Josh Doctson Injured WR TCU rSr 6-2 195 Budget buyer version of Treadwell? Faster but skinner 35 *Desmond King CB 5 Iowa Jr 5-11 200 Not flashy Probably the most pro ready CB in the draft. Ramsey and King would solve many problems 36 Noah Spence OLB 4 E. Kentucky rJr 6-3 261 WARNING dude loves his Ecstasy 37 Cody Whitehair OG 1 Kansas State rSr 6-4 309 Limited versatility but a solid guard 38 Jayron Kearse SS 1 Clemson Jr 6-4 220 Oh look at his specs. but worry about mental lapses 39 Adolphus Washington DT Ohio State Sr 6-4 290 Yet another that flashes and tease then disappears 40 Carson WentzInjured QB N. Dakota State Sr 6-5 231 Late to the show media hype darling for QB love? 41 Tyler Boyd WR 5 Pittsburgh Jr 6-2 200 Another solid WR that needs discipline route running work. 42 Su'a Cravens OLB 5 Southern Cal Jr 6-1 225 LB/S which way do you go? love his all out or nothing play. 43 Shilique Calhoun DE Michigan State rSr 6-5 252 Specs look g reat and production is there yet at times i wonder 44 Vadal Alexander OG 2 LSU Sr 6-5 329 Round two steal? If you need a OG that can if need bounce out to OT 45 Austin Johnson DT 7 Penn State rJr 6-3 325 Motor and ability. A rotation player with huge impact ability on a unit 46 Joshua Perry OLB 6 Ohio State Sr 6-4 254 Another all out or nothing reckless abandon player 47 Kendall Fuller injured CB Virginia Tech Jr 6-0 197 I see the flashes but I also see the lapses 48 Vonn Bell SS 2 Ohio State Jr 5-11 205 In todays NFL I see him a bit to old school 49 Pharoh Cooper WR 6 South Carolina Jr 5-11 208 Here is the next solid WR built to take the pounding. Quick but not fast 50 Hunter Henry TE 1 Arkansas Jr 6-5 253 Impact TE that has all around game. ok let the debates and arguments begin. It is all in good fun ![]() ![]() |
