I'm ready for Sean Payton to leave. Not too much because of him personally, but because of his relationship with his good buddies coordinating our defensive line and line backers. The Saints do a terrible job developing talent at those positions, we hardly get sacks, it seems like when we blitz that even gets picked up and our secondary pays for it. I've read different articles about the coach coming in from Jacksonville and I'm not sure how that will work out, but I just hope we get something really good in return. Sean Payton has 2 years left on his contract and I'm sure he will have the last say on where he ends up. We are a much better team than what our record indicated this year . . . . smh

If we hire Doug Marrone then they're tanking to move the franchise out of New Orleans.

I can appreciate your opinion and a part of me agrees. BUT then I think to Saints football before 2006 and suddenly I can live with his buddies and be just fine hoping he makes a staff change.

We could always go for comic effect and give the job to Mike Smith

Could you imagine the clowns boards if he won the big one with Brees.

What do you expect SP to say, especially right after he owned the FailClowns yet again?

We know change is coming. IMHO, SP stays, Brees is extended with a restructure, we get a new coach or two, we we have a kick arse draft.

I think Payton said a lot by not saying anything.

If he planned to stay in NO a simple "I am not leaving NO, and plan to build this team to another championship", or anything to that effect, then I would be set on him staying. Payton said nothing because he is considering a change and I don't blame him. A shift in ownership is coming soon and Payton wants to stay out of that mess.

Brees shouldn't be going anywhere and if Carmichael and Brees stay our offense will continue to be proficient. I would like us to bring in a defensive HC like Fangio or Tomsula.

As far as compensation for Payton. We shouldn't let him go for anything less than two 1st round draft picks.
